Elect Chris Ryan for New York State Senate!

Vote in person or by mail-in ballot by November 3rd.

Chris Ryan is a lifelong Central New Yorker who grew up in Geddes, where he still lives with his wife, Erin, a public school teacher, and their four children. A lineman by trade, he was a proud union member for decades and was elected president of Local 1123’s in 2014, negotiating contracts and helping retain nearly 800 jobs.

He took that same approach into public office, serving on the Geddes Town Board and the Onondaga County Legislature. Now, he’s proud to represent Central New York in the State Senate.

Chris Ryan’s record of results:

  • Investing in local workers. Chris was instrumental in bringing Micron to Central New York, and he’s fighting to make sure the project creates good-paying jobs for local workers. He currently serves on the Senate’s Labor and Commerce, Economic Development and Small Business committees.
  • Safer communities. As chair of the county’s Public Safety Committee, Chris strengthened the Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management, and the District Attorney’s Office, and secured significant funding for law enforcement and emergency services. Chris has been endorsed by law enforcement groups including the  Police Conference of New York, the Police Benevolent Association of NYS, the New York State Troopers PBA, and the Onondaga County Deputy Sheriff’s Benevolent Association.
  • Lower costs for working families. As a member of the Senate’s Health and Consumer Protection committees, Chris has worked to lower prescription drug costs by expanding access to affordable medications and increasing lower-cost options.
